We're delighted to announce that later this month we will be sponsoring and appearing at the NHS Confederation's annual Mental Health Network Conference and Exhibition in Leeds.

The event, taking place at the University of Leeds’ Cloth Court Hall on Wednesday 24 April, will bring together senior leaders from the mental health, learning disability and autism sector for lively discussions on the future of mental health services, as well as an opportunity to share good practice and network with their peers.

Our Principal Consultant, Michael Watson, will be appearing on the panel of one of the afternoon’s breakout sessions, discussing how data can be unlocked to cut waiting lists and improve patient pathways, while there will be keynote speeches from Sean Duggan - CEO of the Mental Health Network - and Labour's Shadow Minister for Mental Health & Women's Health, Abena-Oppong Asare.

“We are delighted to be an official event partner for NHS Confed's annual Mental Health Network Conference and Exhibition,” Karina Malhotra, our Managing director and Founder, said. “Tackling the mental health crisis is arguably one of the biggest healthcare challenges of our time, and we are increasingly focusing more of our work on this most crucial of areas.”

“Parity of esteem is likely to be a key talking point at the conference, and it will be interesting to hear more about how we can go about achieving true parity between mental and physical care.”

She added: “We are very much looking forward to connecting with like-minded healthcare professionals to drive forward positive change for mental health providers and service users. Alongside the networking opportunities, there are some excellent keynote speeches and breakout sessions to look forward to, including one featuring our very own Michael Watson on how data can transform waiting times.”

“If you are coming to Leeds, it would be great to have a quick catch-up to see how we can improve NHS mental health services for the better!”

We will be exhibiting at stand 1 throughout the event – please come over and say hello if you are attending. You can also find out more about the programme of the day here and keep an eye on our socials for all the latest updates.
